Home-based Volunteer Opportunities

Get involved this October-- 
help older adults remain independent in their homes!


Meals on Wheels (MOW)
volunteer on a weekly/monthly basis
Have a life-changing impact by providing nutritious food and offering social connection to home-bound adults. A quick check-in can dramatically improve the safety and health of an individual!


  • Southwest Minneapolis - TRUST Inc., 4101 Harriet Ave S. (Judson Church) Delivery between 11am-12pm
  • Northeast & Southeast Minneapolis - Eastside MOW, 817 Main St. NE, Delivery between 11:15am-12:15pm
  • Bloomington - Creekside Community Center, 9801 Penn Ave S. Delivery between 10:30am-11:30am


CEAP 
Raking yards with CEAP in Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Champlin, and the Camden area of Minneapolis. Help elderly and disabled individuals remain independent in their homes while enjoying the beautiful fall weather! Volunteers needed October 18-20 and October 25-27. Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly (LBFOTE)
LBFOTE promotes the well-being and independence of older adults in the Twin Cities. Be a friendly visitor in the greater Minneapolis area to help alleviate loneliness and help those we serve feel connected and part of the broader community. Time commitment is 2-3 hours per month; 3 month minimum appreciated. Call 952-945-4161 to get involved.
